Midwifery care
My journey to midwifery has been a long and rewarding process. The calling of midwifery came in 2011 unexpectedly and supported by the spirit of my ancestor, my great-great grandmother. An AHA moment and recognition of my path that launched me to be a doula and learn the art of midwifery. After 10 years of full time doula work and over 400 births attended, I enrolled at the National Midwifery Institute in 2020 and have been apprenticing with amazing local midwives.
At this point in my midwifery path, I am a Primary Student Midwife under supervision. I currently work with Jinny Paigle of Homestead Midwifery. Jinny is my mentor and supports me becoming more and more independent. I am her apprentice and work with her clients. If you would like to have me at your birth, check out her webpage and reach out to either me or Jinny with any questions!
