I was born and raised in Budapest, Hungary. After spending my youth dancing, horse riding and gymnastics, I moved to the Bay Area to pursue my studies in dance and Somatic Movement Therapy. I am married and have two beautiful boys. After the birth of my first child, I realized that I want to be a midwife. To start my path, I became a doula in 2011.
I am a DONA trained Doula, and a Childbirth Educator on my path to midwifery. I am a certified massage therapist, trained in somatic movement therapy, developmental movement therapy, certified in radical counseling and have been a dancer, dance teacher for the past 25 years. I bring all this knowledge of the body and emotional process, to support mothers and their families on their journey through the birth process and parenting.
In 2013 I attended Elizabeth Davis's Heart and Hands beginning midwifery intensive, which was my first step on the road towards midwifery. This course and the teaching of Elizabeth not only gifted me with deeper understanding and more comprehensive knowledge about birth, but has given me a doula certification as well. I am proud to hold this certification. If you are interested in her work I highly recommend her book and documentary: Orgasmic birth.
In 2014 I became a Certified Rebozo Instructor by Gena Kirby and I am excited to offer my Embodied Birth classes that integrate and synthesize all the knowledge I have acquired in the last 25 years about how to be in the body, embody the mind, and trust the inner process.
In 2018 I became a Certified Spinning Babies Parent Educator and I offer group and private classes to teach the tools for greater comfort and ease in pregnancy and labor. Using my knowledge of the body, the use of the rebozo, Spinning Babies and the experience I have from supporting 500+ families, I specialize on helping pregnant people gain more comfort, self confidence, turn breech babies, turn posterior babies, and achieve their goal of a natural birth. As someone who went through it myself, I wholeheartedly support VBAC and HBAC mothers/birthing people.
After 13 years of doula work I am now officially a student of midwifery at the National Midwifery Institute, learning to be a home birth midwife. I apprentice with amazing Bay Area midwives such as Michelle Borok, Alana Diamos, Esther Healy and Michelle Welborn.
I have a special connection with babies. I have always been focused on the wellbeing of babies and helping the adults in care of these small humans to be aware of the different experiences these babies have and how to care for them. I am devoted to supporting newborns and small infants in adjusting to this world and that is why I have been focusing on Developmental Movement Therapy, Cranio-Sacral Therapy and Midwifery. I'm here to advocate and translate for the little ones who can't speak for themselves just yet. This is why I started offering early days 24/7 postpartum support. I want babies and families to start out on the right foot with lots of support.
